Kevin Lee is one of the most exciting UFC fighters in the sport today. He has been fighting professionally since 2011 and has achieved great success in his career thus far.
Lee was born on September 4th, 1992, in Detroit Michigan. Growing up, he had an interest in combat sports as both his father and grandfather boxed competitively. After graduating high school he began training mixed martial arts and quickly found success at a local gym near Detroit – eventually winning multiple amateur MMA championships before turning pro at just 21 years old.
Lee made his professional debut with a victory over Alonzo Martinez at Ring Of Combat 41 by submission due to punches back in 2012 but it wasn’t until 2013 when he signed with the UFC that his true rise to fame began. Since then Kevin has gone 13-5 in professional bouts 2 of which were for title fights against now lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov & #1 contender Tony Ferguson respectively – although losing both these bouts by submission still put on a very impressive performance nonetheless .
What sets Lee apart from other fighters is not only his skill level but also perhaps more importantly how much heart he puts into every fight; no matter if its coming off a win or loss Kevin’s desire to win always remains consistent throughout each bout. His style of fighting can be seen as aggressive yet tactical; usually going for takedowns early while looking for submissions later using swift transitions through ground work & standup strikes if necessary making him one of the most unpredictable fighters out there today who isn’t afraid to take risks which often leads him into some very entertaining fights regardless of outcome .
Outside of the octagon Lee enjoys spending time playing video games such as Call Of Duty & FIFA when away from training camps or during down times between fights – something else that makes him stand out amongst other athletes within similar sports besides being able to speak Japanese fluently too! Regarding accomplishments so far within MMA Kevin currently holds black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Roberto Traven & Judo under Robert Drysdale – proving himself once again that he is willing invest time into learning proper techniques outside just training striking all day long like many others do .
Overall Kevin Lee represents what it means to be a genuine warrior athlete who loves competing no matter what situation he’s put through inside or outside The Octagon showing why fans around world continue tuning into watch this man compete every chance they get!
