BIOGRAPHY

Kazula Vargas is an American mixed martial artist currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He has been competing since 2019 and has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting fighters on the roster.

Vargas was born in Hawthorne, California, and began training in Muay Thai at age 12 under Master Tony Torres. He moved up through the amateur ranks before turning professional in 2012 at just 18 years old. In his professional career, Vargas has gone 6-0 with four wins by knockout or TKO. His impressive performances have earned him a spot on Dana White’s Contender Series where he won a contract with UFC after submitting opponent Austin Tweedy in 2019.

Since joining UFC, Vargas has continued to impress fans and critics alike with his aggressive style of fighting. His willingness to exchange strikes from distance allows him to find openings for takedowns which he capitalizes on quickly and efficiently.
