Jimmy Flick is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the UFC’s Flyweight Division. He started his career in Muay Thai and eventually transitioned to MMA, which he has been competing in professionally since 2013.

Flick began training in Muay Thai when he was just five years old and quickly developed a passion for the sport. As a teenager, he moved to Thailand to further hone his skills under some of the world’s top trainers and fight promoters. After spending several years as an amateur fighter, Flick made his professional debut at age 18 and immediately set out on a winning streak that earned him three championship belts within two years.

In 2013, Flick decided it was time to transition from Muay Thai into MMA. He trained hard for six months before making his debut against fellow newcomer John King at local promotion Spartan Fighting Championships (SFC) 1: Evolution Ground Zero. After defeating King via submission due to guillotine choke, Flick went on to win all seven of his SFC bouts over the next three years – most notably earning ‘Knockout of the Night’ honors with a head kick finish during SFC 4: Clash Of The Titans – before signing with Bellator MMA in 2016.

After three successful fights inside the Bellator cage during which he acquired another ‘Knockout of the Night’ award for a spinning backfist stoppage victory over Tim Bazer, Flick signed with UFC earlier this year as part of Dana White’s Contender Series promotional program where fighters compete for contracts with America’s premier MMA organization based on their performances each episode night event season long showings .
