BIOGRAPHY

Domingo Pilarte is a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert. He is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his UFC debut in August 2015 at UFC Fight Night 71 against Masio Fullen, winning by unanimous decision.

Pilarte was born on February 1st, 1989 in Tampico, Mexico. Growing up he was always interested in sports but didn’t find an outlet until he discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 14. After training for several years under coach Carlos Gavilanes, Pilarte decided to take his passion further and pursue a career as a professional MMA fighter.

In 2011, Pilarte began fighting professionally through regional promotions like Combate Americas and International Cage Combat where he accumulated an impressive record of 8 wins and 3 losses before signing with the UFC in August 2015. In his first fight with the promotion he earned a unanimous decision over Masio Fullen at UFC Fight Night 71 which secured him his first official win inside the octagon. Since then he has gone on to gain another win over Yuta Sasaki at The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2 Finale as well as two more victories against Gabriel Silva and Dileno Lopes respectively via submission due to rear naked choke hold within round one; making it two out of three wins via submission so far inside the Octagon for Pilarte who holds a 4-3 record overall with one no contest verdict still pending review from USADA (U.S Anti Doping Association).

Outside of fighting, Pilarte enjoys spending time with family & friends along with playing soccer whenever possible just for fun or personal fitness reasons since both activities require great endurance & cardiovascular health levels; something that helps him prepare for fights better than most especially when facing high caliber opponents such as those found often inside The Octagon nowadays.. Furthermore ,he also likes taking some time off every once in awhile from training & competing life to participate actively into charity work events like feeding homeless people around Mexico City.. This way not only does Domingo help those that are less fortunate than himself but also gets to do what he loves best while doing some good!
