Darrius Flowers is an American Mixed Martial Artist who has competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 2019. He currently competes in the lightweight division and holds a professional record of 9-3. His career started out with wins on regional circuits, before he was signed by UFC after an impressive performance at Dana White’s Contender Series 5.
At the age of 25, Flowers made his professional MMA debut in January 2015 with a win over Ben Tidwell at XFFC 17: Inception. After that he went on to fight for various regional promotions such as King of The Cage and Warrior FC where he amassed an 8-2 record before earning his call up to UFC.
Since joining UFC, Flowers has been highly successful winning three of his five fights including two Knockout victories against Thomas Gifford and Damir Hadzovic respectively. His most recent win came at UFC 258 where he earned a unanimous decision victory over opponent Luis Pena which took him to 9-3 overall as a professional MMA fighter.
Outside of competition, Darrius is known for being humble yet determined personality who approaches each fight with the intention of finishing it inside the octagon; something which can be seen through his impressive KO/TKO ratio within fights – 6 out nine wins have come via these methods showing just how devastatingly powerful this young fighter can be when needed most!
His dedication also extends into training as well where he is often found pushing himself beyond what many would deem possible due to passion for developing not only physically but mentally too which is something that makes him stand out amongst other fighters in terms of preparation beforehand!
