BIOGRAPHY

Bogdan Guskov is a professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his UFC debut on May 8th, 2021, at UFC 261. Guskov trains out of the Sambo-Pankration Fight Club and represents Russia as a highly skilled, experienced fighter.

Guskov began training in martial arts when he was only five years old. His father was an avid practitioner of sambo and judo, so it wasn’t long before Bogdan followed suit. He trained judo for several years before deciding to focus his attention on sambo at age thirteen. After two years of rigorous training with the best trainers in Moscow, Guskov earned his black belt in sambo at age fifteen and started competing professionally shortly thereafter. At sixteen he won bronze medal at the World Sambo Championships held in St Petersburg and it didn’t take long after that for him to turn pro as an MMA fighter under the M-1 Global promotion.

In 2015, Bogdan joined the ranks of Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB) which quickly became one of Europe’s most popular promotions – earning him many big opportunities with some notable wins over top contenders like Magomed Magomedkerimov or Alexander Yakolev along with multiple post fight bonuses due to entertaining finishes throughout his tenure there.. In 2020 he signed up for Brave Combat Federation where he had success against some high level opponents including a submission win against dangerous kickboxing ace Antonio Duarte who went undefeated until then!

By 2021 Bogdan had amassed an impressive record as well as considerable notoriety among European fans – prompting UFC President Dana White to offer him a chance to compete inside The Octagon during International Fight Week edition held by Yas Marina Circuit back in April 2021 – giving fans across UAE access to world class MMA action provided by their favorite Russian warrior!
