Andrew Sanchez is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Middleweight division. He was born on December 21, 1989 in Minot, North Dakota and started his competitive fighting career back in 2010 after graduating from college with a degree in business administration.

Sanchez began his professional MMA career as an amateur fighter for Minnesota-based Xcessive Force Fighting Championship. During this time he earned two separate TKO victories and one unanimous decision win over future UFC veteran Cody Pfister and quickly established himself as one of the top fighters from the region. After transitioning to professional competition, Sanchez maintained his unbeaten record while competing for promotions such as RFA and LFA before signing with UFC or The Ultimate Fighter contract in 2016.
