BIOGRAPHY

Adam Fugitt is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on August 22, 1989, he is an American with his roots in Indiana. He currently fights as a Lightweight and has won six of his seven professional bouts.

Fugitt made his MMA debut in April 2015 at Midwest Fight Series 3 against Robert Harris. His first win came shortly after at Midwestern Fight Series 4 when he defeated Joseph Suggs via unanimous decision. After gaining experience from amateur fights between 2015-2016, he had a successful run during 2017 and 2018 where he fought for various promotions such as Ring Of Combat, Valor Fights and Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). During this period, he became known for displaying great skill inside the cage while being one of the most entertaining fighters within the sport. With each fight showing improvement in both striking and grappling skills; it was only a matter of time until Adam earned himself a spot on one of biggest stages – UFC.

After signing with UFC in October 2019 and winning his promotional debut match against Austin Hubbard via split decision at UFC Fight Night 166; Fugitt’s career has been on an upward trajectory ever since then culminating into becoming 7th ranked lightweight fighter by USAToday/MMA Junkie rankings dated May 2021 . Since joining UFC ranks Adam has gone 2-1 with victories over Jordan Griffin & Yancy Medeiros respectively while losing out to Beneil Dariush during April 2020 event held at AT&T Center San Antonio Texas .Throughout this stretch we have seen him display efficient wrestling coupled along with effective stand up striking that makes him dangerous opponent for any light weight there is today .
