BIOGRAPHY

Paul Felder is an American mixed martial artist and commentator currently signed to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He competes in the lightweight division of the UFC and is known for his fight-ending strikes.

Felder was born on April 25, 1984 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended North Catholic High School where he trained with local boxing gyms and became a Golden Gloves champion at age 18. After graduating high school, he enrolled in college at Temple University where he studied acting while also competing as an amateur fighter. His acting career eventually took him to New York City before returning back to his home state of Pennsylvania where he decided to pursue a professional fighting career full time.

Felder made his professional MMA debut in 2011 at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 5 against Adam Maciejewski which ended via submission due to punches by Felder just under two minutes into the first round. Following that victory, Paul earned a spot on Bellator MMA’s season eight lightweight tournament roster but suffered defeat during the quarterfinals against Marcin Held via unanimous decision. In 2013, Felder joined Ultimate Fighter season 19 after being invited by then head coach B J Penn and went on undefeated throughout all preliminary fights until suffering defeat from eventual show winner Eddie Gordon during the semifinals bout via unanimous decision.
In 2014 Paul received an invitation from Dana White himself for UFC Fight Night Dublin’s main card as a replacement opponent for injured Joseph Duffy making him an official member of UFC roster since then becoming one of top mainstay lightweights in promotion ever since winning 9 out 11 bouts including six finishes consisting of four knockouts & two submissions demonstrating why they call him “The Irish Dragon” not only because his father hails from Ireland but because of how exciting & dynamic fighter Paul is inside octagon when it comes down action packed battles no matter who stands across cage opposite corner delivering always jaw dropping performances earning respect among fans alike around world along with hardened veteran status within sport itself gaining multiple postfight bonuses awarded by promotion over years cementing position as one most popular athletes signed under promotions banner till date .
