BIOGRAPHY

Julian Marquez is an American Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) middleweight division. Born on August 28, 1987 in Denver, Colorado, he grew up playing football and basketball before eventually getting involved with martial arts. He started training Jiu Jitsu at the age of 18 and transitioned to MMA shortly after.

Marquez began his professional MMA career in 2014 fighting out of Jackson-Winkeljohn Academy alongside world champions such as Jon Jones and Holly Holm. Since then he has gone on to become one of the most exciting fighters in the UFC today. He has earned a record of 8 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw over 11 professional fights – developing a reputation for putting on exciting performances as well as having a knack for finishing his opponents early with knockouts or submissions. In January 2021 Marquez made his UFC debut winning via TKO against Maki Pitolo at UFC Fight Night 183 earning him Performance Of The Night honors from Dana White and Joe Rogan alike which further solidified him as one to watch out for within the organization moving forward.
