BIOGRAPHY

Jesse Ronson is one of the most talented and feared fighters in the UFC’s lightweight division. Born in London, Ontario, Canada on September 15th 1989, Jesse began his martial arts training when he was just eight years old. His father, a former kickboxer himself, introduced him to martial arts at an early age and taught him the basics of striking. He then went on to train at Muay Thai Academy under Rob Fournier before being accepted into Tristar Gym in Montreal where he could further hone his skills for competition.

Ronson made his pro debut back in 2008 with a submission win over Brandon Wheaton of London Fight Factory and quickly racked up an impressive 8-0 record that included four TKO stoppages as well as two submission wins. This success earned him a spot on The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs Australia TV series which aired from February 12th through April 16th 2014 in which he competed for Team Canada alongside fellow future UFC stars Elias Theodorou and Chad Laprise. During the show Jesse won 2 out of 3 fights by decision including one against eventual winner Elias Theodorou but unfortunately lost by unanimous decision during the finale against Olivier Aubin-Mercier thus ending his run that season without winning it all.

Following this defeat Jesse Ronson returned to MMA competition competing mostly on Canadian regional cards such as Battlefield Fight League where he ended up going 4-1 finishing three opponents via submission while also earning a split decision victory along the way before finally making it back into UFC’s octagon late 2015 at UFN 74 where he faced Francisco Trinaldo eventually losing by arm triangle choke finish although not before giving Trinaldo all sorts of trouble throughout their bout showing off some slick standup mixed with great grappling skills while showcasing strong heartedness along with determination despite losing towards end result.

After this fight Jesse continued competing inside organization racking up another 2 wins against Jingliang Li & Marc Diakiese respectively both fights ending within first round via knockout or TKO adding further prestige to already blooming career path within sport after almost 10 year long journey beginning when still child learning basics about combat sports at local gym nearby home town London Ontario who many know today as hometown hero being sent off each time enters cage representing country’s flag proudly every step taken towards ultimate goal becoming champion amongst peers aims providing best example possible future generations thinking about taking same route chose day decided try something new turned passion way life all these years later still continues living dream whilst teaching others how do same too continuing inspire fans around globe while striving achieve everything possible out what started young boy wanting learn more understanding art life itself than ever imagined would be able accomplish going forward right now only sky limit when comes potential next few steps take defining rise legend grown become today
