BIOGRAPHY

Aleksa Camur is an American mixed martial artist and a professional fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 18th, 1998. He began his amateur career at the age of 17 and won five matches before turning pro two years later.

Camur’s amateur career led him to join Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts, where he trained under UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture. His first fight as a professional took place at RFA 37 against Lewis Rumsey, which he won by unanimous decision. After that victory, Camur signed with TKO Major League MMA and fought another undefeated prospect in Big John McCarthy’s pupil Anthony Zender. Camur again proved victorious in this contest via second round triangle choke submission.

In 2018, after winning five fights consecutively and building an impressive record of 6-0 overall without ever going to the judges scorecards for any of his bouts; Aleksa signed with a well-renowned promotion known as Professional Fighters League (PFL). At PFL 5 event in Edmonton Canada he faced off against fellow rising star Cameron Church who claimed victory over him by split decision despite Aleksa being declared winner by multiple media outlets covering the event due to his consistent pressure throughout all three rounds.

Eventually craving new challenges that were not present within PFL roster anymore; Aleksa took a chance and became one out of twelve winners from Dana White Contender Series 19 show which earned him UFC contract back on September 1st 2019 – making it even more special since it happened exactly 10 years after death of his father who was big supporter behind all his successes up until then!
