Zack Moss

Zack Moss is an American football running back whose NFL career began when the Buffalo Bills selected him in the third round, 86th overall, of the 2020 NFL Draft. Born December 15, 1997, in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, Moss attended Hallandale High School before playing college football at the University of Utah. Listed at 5 feet 10 inches and 215 pounds, he became one of Utah’s most accomplished running backs and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication in 2020.

At Utah, Moss was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2019. He was the first player in school history to produce three 1,000-yard rushing seasons, and he established multiple Utah career records before entering the NFL. Moss later played for Buffalo, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. His professional style has been characterized by physical north-south running, balance through contact and useful receiving ability from the backfield. As of September 14, 2026, the Cincinnati Bengals’ official roster does not list Moss, so this biography describes Cincinnati as a past affiliation rather than a current team.
