He’s notably recognized for his exceptional skills as a quarterback, having played for a wide array of teams over the course of his career.
Johnson was born and raised in Oakland, California. From 2004 to 2007, he attended the University of San Diego where he played college football for the San Diego Toreros under then-head coach Jim Harbaugh, who would himself later experience considerable success as an NFL coach for the San Francisco 49ers and the head coach at Michigan.
