Jonathan Allen is an NFL defensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals. Born January 16, 1995, in Anniston, Alabama, he attended Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia, before playing college football at Alabama. Allen established himself as an interior defensive lineman known for quickness, leverage and the ability to disrupt both running plays and the quarterback from inside.

Allen was selected by Washington with the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2021 and 2022 and was a key member of Washington’s defensive front during his eight seasons with the organization. Washington released him on March 7, 2025; he then joined the Minnesota Vikings for the 2025 season.

On March 13, 2026, the Bengals announced that they had signed Allen to a two-year contract running through the 2027 season. As of October 1, 2026, Cincinnati lists him as an active defensive tackle wearing No. 93. His career includes major individual recognition at Alabama and the NFL level, including two Pro Bowl selections and a first-round draft status.
