Place a Wager on JaMycal Hasty

JaMycal Hasty is a professional football player in the National Football League. He plays running back for the San Francisco 49ers. Born on January 31, 1997 in Longview, Texas, Hasty attended Longview High School where he was an all-district performer as both a running back and defensive back. During his senior year, he rushed for 1,139 yards and scored 22 touchdowns which earned him All-State honors and attracted attention from college recruiters.

Hasty chose to attend Baylor University where he was a member of the Bears’ football team from 2015–2018. As a freshman in 2015, he saw limited action but still managed to finish second on the team with 474 rushing yards and three touchdowns. The following two years saw increased playing time and statistics as coach Matt Rhule worked to build up Baylor’s offense around him; by 2017, JaMycal had become one of the most productive backs in school history with 1,060 rushing yards (putting him third all time at Baylor) along with seven touchdowns that season alone. His final year proved to be his best yet: 823 rushing yards plus 11 touchdowns over 10 games earned him second team All-Big XII honors alongside notable NFL players such as former Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns and Broncos quarterback Drew Lock.

In April 2019 JaMycal entered into the NFL Draft where he was selected by San Francisco in the seventh round (240th overall). Although not expected to make much impact right away given his late draft pick status – especially since it occurred during an off-season with no preseason games due to COVID19 – Hasty has been fighting tooth-and-nail for playing time throughout training camp this summer; despite having only played on special teams thus far this season it appears unlikely that coach Kyle Shanahan would keep someone of JaMycal’s caliber off of the field for long given what we know about his collegiate career at Baylor!

JaMycal has proven himself consistently throughout his career so far whether it be through winsome performances at Longview High School or standout numbers while leading up Bucks offense at Baylor University…it seems clear that when opportunity arises then #32 will certainly take advantage & show everyone why he deserves more snaps on Sundays!
