Israel Antwine, born on March 27, 2000, has showcased his prowess in the field of American professional football as a prominent defensive tackle. He notably played for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL), leaving his mark in the league with impressing performances. As a seasoned player, his football journey traces back to high school, college, and to notable professional leagues, displaying a strong and solid track record in the sport.

Hailing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Antwine started his footballing journey in his hometown. He attended Millwood High School, where he lettered in football and powerlifting, laying the groundwork for his future career. In addition to being a devoted football player, Antwine was rated as a three-star recruit and was sought after by numerous colleges across the United States. The exciting offers came from renowned schools such as Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa State, Missouri, Texas, TCU, and Tech Tech. However, he ultimately chose to commit to Colorado, kickstarting his college football career.

In 2018, Antwine proved his worth as a true freshman on the Colorado Buffaloes’ team. He displayed his talent and work ethic by participating in all 12 season games and starting 11 of them. His defensive skills were demonstrated through his 15 tackles and five solo stops, making it a successful season.

In a significant move, Antwine transferred to Oklahoma State in January 2019, switching allegiances and pledging his skills to the Cowboys. The 2019 season was another display of Antwine’s proficiency, where he performed in 10 games, started in nine, and pulled off 25 tackles along with 3 quarterback hurries. The succeeding seasons up to 2021 saw Antwine continually playing and starting several games, pulling off impressive tackles, including those for loss, quarterback hurries, and even forced a fumble. His career at Oklahoma State notably culminated with 65 tackles, 29 solo stops, 13 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks.

April 30, 2022, marked a significant milestone in Antwine’s professional career. He was signed as an undrafted free agent to the Jacksonville Jaguars after remaining unselected in the earlier part of the 2022 NFL draft. Despite being waived in August the same year, Antwine displayed resilience and was re-signed to the practice squad the following day. His time with the Jaguars came to an end when he was released on October 11 that year.

The following year brought a new opportunity as Antwine was signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in March 2023. His stint with the Alouettes ended when he was released on January 24, 2024. However, he quickly bounced back to join the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL) in May 2024, reinforcing his reputation as a resilient and persistent footballer in professional leagues.
