Brandon McManus Bio
Brandon Tyler McManus is an American football placekicker born July 25, 1991, in Philadelphia. He played kicker and punter at Temple, where he earned national recognition as a specialist and developed a reputation for strong leg strength. McManus entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013 and later spent time with the New York Giants before joining the Denver Broncos in 2014.
McManus became Denver’s primary kicker and was a key contributor during the Broncos’ Super Bowl 50 championship season. He was especially recognized for his range on long field-goal attempts and his composure in high-pressure situations. His postseason performance during Denver’s title run helped establish him as one of the franchise’s notable specialists and earned praise from the organization for his clutch contributions.
After leaving Denver in 2023, McManus played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Commanders before joining the Green Bay Packers in October 2024. Green Bay released him on May 8, 2026, with a post-June 1 designation. As of September 17, 2026, the NFL lists McManus as an unrestricted free agent rather than a member of a current team.
