Audric Estime's Biography

Audric Estimé, pronounced EH-stih-may, was born on September 6, 2003, and is a prominent name in the world of American professional football. Currently, he is an efficient running back for the Denver Broncos, a team that is a part of the National Football League (NFL). Estimé’s career blossomed as he played college football for the esteemed University of Notre Dame’s team, the Fighting Irish.

Estimé spent his formative years in Nyack, New York, where he developed a strong inclination for sports, predominantly football. He pursued his high school education at Saint Joseph Regional High School, situated in Montvale, New Jersey. As a senior, he excelled in his favorite sport football with an impressive stat of 1,857 rushing yards and a whopping 22 touchdowns to his name. His excellent performances didn’t go unnoticed, earning him the distinction of the NJ.com Football Player of the Year.

Wanting to take his passion for football further, he initially pledged his future to Michigan State University. However, his plans changed eventually leading him to join the University of Notre Dame, thus marking the beginning of an impressive college football career.

The year 2021 marked his debut as a true freshman at the University of Notre Dame. However, football enthusiasts had limited opportunities to witness the young talent’s prowess because he was serving the season as a backup to Kyren Williams. Yet, in the handful chances he got, he displayed his potential as a powerful running back, recording seven rushes for 60 yards.

The following year, Estimé’s involvement in the game saw an upsurge. He served an impressive season with a commendable tally of 825 yards garnered from 142 carries alongside 11 significant rushing touchdowns. Highlighting his season was a particular match held on December 30, 2022, where Notre Dame clashed against South Carolina in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Not only did his team emerge victoriously in this 45–38 face-off, but Estimé also made optimal contributions with 95 yards in 14 carries.

Estimé continued his run of form in the 2023 season, where he became a critical part of the team’s success. The season saw him making 210 carries to collect an impressive 1,341 rushing yards and 18 extremely valuable touchdowns.

The Denver Broncos, recognizing his talent, drafted him in the fifth round as the 147th pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Unfortunately, his tenure with the Broncos got off to a rocky start due to an injury that consequently landed him on the reserve bench on September 11, 2024. Nevertheless, he fought back and made a comeback to the active roster by the 12th of October, the same year.

On a more personal note, Estimé is of Haitian descent. He has one sibling – a brother named Khadar. His early life was marked by a significant tragedy when he lost his mother to sickle cell disease at the tender age of ten. This led to him and his brother being brought up by their aunt and uncle, joining their family. Interestingly, their family also included their cousin, Terrence Fede, who himself had a successful NFL career as a defensive end. Fede played a significant role in young Estimé’s life, guiding him and acting as a mentor throughout his football career.
