Notwithstanding his talent and excellence in football being innate, his skills were honed and chiseled right from his high school education at North Forney High School where he actively participated and excelled in the school’s football program.
His exceptional performance in high school gave him an entry into college football. In 2014, Watts got an opportunity to play college football at the acclaimed Texas A&M where he played for an impressive four years under the guidance of Head Coach, Kevin Sumlin.
