Aaron Robinson Bio
Aaron Robinson is an American football cornerback from Deerfield Beach, Florida. Born November 10, 1997, he is listed by the NFL at 6 feet 1 inch and 195 pounds. His background includes experience at both outside cornerback and nickelback, with evaluators highlighting his size, physicality, foot quickness and ability to press receivers.
Robinson began his college career at Alabama in 2016, contributing as a reserve defensive back and on special teams. He subsequently transferred to UCF, where he developed into a prominent defensive back and primarily started at nickelback in 2019. Robinson earned second-team All-American Athletic Conference recognition in both 2019 and 2020, and his final UCF season also brought watch-list recognition for the Nagurski and Jim Thorpe awards.
The New York Giants selected Robinson with the 71st overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. His professional career was interrupted by knee injuries, and he did not play after October 2, 2022. On July 30, 2024, the Giants waived him after he failed a physical. No later NFL signing or current team could be verified as of September 28, 2026, so his Giants affiliation should be described as a past one rather than current employment.
