Reginald Ryedell Bullock Jr., known as Reggie Bullock, is a renowned professional basketball player born on March 16, 1991. Known for his energetic performances and skillful play, Bullock has enjoyed a successful career in the National Basketball Association (NBA), representing several elite teams, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Most recently, he played for the Houston Rockets, demonstrating his continuing relevance and impact on the sport.

Prior to his professional career, Bullock was a standout player at Kinston High School in North Carolina. Demonstrating talent and leadership beyond his years, he led the team to three state championship games, securing victory in 2008 and 2010. After the Clippers, he played for the Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019. Despite experiencing an unfortunate injury that required surgery for a cervical disc herniation, Reggie managed to demonstrate his resilience and prowess yet again during his debut with the New York Knicks in 2020.

Bullock’s basketball journey continued with the Dallas Mavericks in 2021, and his career brought him to the Houston Rockets, where he played until 2023. Despite being waived by the San Antonia Spurs after a brief stint, Bullock remained undeterred and quickly found his place with the Houston Rockets, proving that his talent and tenacity were unwavering.

In his off-court life, Bullock is known for his inspirational personal growth and advocacy work. The tragic murder of his transgender sister, Mia Henderson, in 2014 led him to become an advocate for LGBT rights. Embracing his sister’s legacy of living authentically, he has used his platform to support and train gay and transgender youth. Bullock has participated in events such as the New York City LGBT Pride March and has been recognized by GLAAD for his advocacy. In October 2019, Bullock faced more personal tragedy when his other sister, Keiosha Moore, was also murdered. Despite the heartache, Bullock has chosen to channel his emotions towards making a positive impact on society, transforming his personal adversity into advocacy.
