Joe Ingles

Joe Ingles is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born in Happy Valley, South Australia on October 2, 1987. Growing up in a family of seven, his parents Geoff and Anna encouraged him to pursue his dreams at a young age. Joe attended Brighton Secondary School where he was named MVP of the school’s regional basketball team during his senior year.

Ingles would eventually attend AIS Canberra Institute of Sport before receiving an invitation to play college ball in the United States at University Of Utah. During his two years playing with Utes, Ingles averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds per game while being named All-Mountain West Conference First Team selections both seasons. After going undrafted during the 2009 NBA draft, Ingles began playing professionally overseas and spent four years between 2013-2016 with Maccabi Tel Aviv BC winning three Euroleague championships over that span as well as Israeli Premier League titles each season.

In 2014 Joe made history by becoming the first Australian to be selected for Team World during a Rising Stars Challenge held at NBA All-Star weekend events where he showcased his skills against some very talented competition from around world .
