Jamal Murray

Jamal Murray is one of the most exciting young players in the NBA today. The 21-year old guard from Kitchener, Ontario was drafted seventh overall by the Denver Nuggets in 2016 and has since established himself as a rising star in the league. He made an immediate impact for Denver during his rookie season, averaging 9.9 points per game while shooting 37 percent from three-point range – good enough to earn him a place on NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors.

Murray continued to improve during his second season with Denver, increasing his scoring average to 16.7 points per game while making more than double the amount of threes he had made as a rookie (2.5). His stellar play would eventually lead to appearances at both 2018 Rising Stars Challenge and 2019 Skills Challenge at All-Star Weekend, where Jamal showcased not only his offensive prowess but also displayed some fancy passing skills too! Following another successful campaign with Denver, he extended his contract through 2021/22 season ensuring him that he’ll be wearing number 27 for quite some time yet!
