Jacob David Irvin, born on February 18, 1997, is an American born professional baseball pitcher who has proven himself as one of the rising talents in Major League Baseball (MLB). He currently plays for the Washington Nationals, a well-regarded team in the MLB.

A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, Irvin spent his high school years at Thomas Jefferson High School, where his strong commitment to the game of baseball started to surface.
