Makayla Timpson is a 6-foot-2 forward-center for the Indiana Fever as of September 13, 2026. The Fever selected the Florida State product with the 19th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Born September 20, 2002, Timpson attended Early County High School before building a four-year college career with the Seminoles.
At Florida State, Timpson earned First-Team All-ACC recognition in 2024 and 2025, made the ACC All-Defensive Team from 2023 through 2025, and was named the conference’s Most Improved Player in 2023. She left the program as its career rebounding and double-double record holder, while also setting single-season school marks for rebounds and blocks as a senior. Her profile is that of an interior forward: a physical rebounder and rim protector who can finish around the basket and supply defensive activity in the frontcourt.
