Portland selected her first overall in the 2026 WNBA Expansion Draft and subsequently signed her; she previously played for the Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx. The WNBA lists Carleton at 6-foot-2, born May 22, 1997, and identifies Iowa State as her college program. Connecticut selected her in the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft, 21st overall.
At Iowa State, Carleton developed into an accomplished perimeter player, earning 2019 Big 12 Player of the Year and the Cheryl Miller Award, which recognizes the nation’s top Division I small forward.
