Val Woodburn is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She is currently signed to the promotion and competes in the strawweight division. Woodburn began her career as an amateur fighter, where she earned recognition for her impressive skills and physicality. After two successful amateur fights, she made her professional debut in 2018 with a win over Veronica Yanez at Invicta FC 27.

Since then, Woodburn has competed against some of the top-ranked strawweights in the UFC such as Cláudia Gadelha, Nina Ansaroff, and Angela Hill. In 2020, she fought former champion Jessica Andrade at UFC 251 which saw her win by unanimous decision. This was one of her biggest wins to date that propelled her up the ranks of contenders vying for a shot at gold.

Woodburn’s style sets apart from other fighters due to its emphasis on striking techniques along with wrestling fundamentals that allow her take control during grappling exchanges instead of relying solely on submission attempts or ground-and-pound tactics like many other competitors do.. As an athlete, she’s known for being highly competitive but also humble – qualities which have enabled Woody to maintain positive relationships with both fans and fellow fighters alike over time while continuing to build upon what has become a formidable career thus far.

Outside of fighting Val continues to pursue higher education goals having recently graduated from University Of South Florida with a degree in business management allowing here toget further involved within MMA outside just competing inside it professionally as well as help pave out future options should decide not continue pursuing fight sports any longer than necessary

Woodburn already holds wins over some very notable names within the sport making it likely that given continued success will make contendable runs towards title opportunities within near future .All things considered ,the sky seems limit when discussing potential accomplishments for this rising star whom doesn’t appear content coasting off past glories rather consistently pushes herself limits each day working towards seeing all possible dreams come true
