BIOGRAPHY

Ravena Oliveira is one of the most successful Brazilian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters in UFC history. Born on April 28, 1986, in São Paulo, Brazil, she began training at a young age and quickly ascended to the professional level. She made her professional debut at just 18 years old and earned three straight wins over established names such as Erick Silva and Claudio Salgueiro. Her success in MMA led to a call from UFC when she was 23 years old; she made her octagon debut against fellow Brazilian fighter Juliana Lima at UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Stephens in 2014.

Oliveira’s first five fights inside the octagon saw her rack up four wins with two submissions each via triangle choke hold and armbar respectively; showing off an impressive range of submission skills that have become synonymous with the ‘Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu’ style that has become so popular among fight fans around the world.
