BIOGRAPHY

Na Liang is a Chinese MMA fighter and current UFC fighter from Shanghai, China. He has been fighting professionally since 2016, when he began his career in the Chinese promotion RUFF with a win over fellow countryman Zixin Wu. Since then, he has gone on to compete in various other promotions such as One FC and Kunlun Fight, where he won multiple fights. His overall professional record stands at 12-1-0.

In 2019 Na made his way into the UFC after being invited to participate in the Dana White Contender Series (DWCS). In that series Na fought against Tyler Diamond and came out victorious via unanimous decision. This earned him a contract with the UFC and marked him as one of the first ever Chinese fighters to sign with them.

Since signing with the UFC, Na has had two successful fights in 2020; both resulting in victories by unanimous decision against Damir Ismagulov at UFC Fight Night: Smith vs Rakic & Francisco Figueiredo at UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs Hill . His next fight will be against Thomas Almeida at UFC 260 which will take place on March 27th 2021.

Outside of competing inside of the octagon Na is an avid recreational athlete who enjoys playing basketball & soccer amongst other sports activities along with going for hikes whenever possible during free time off from training/fighting or promotional activities for sponsorships/events etc…

Na trains out of Tiger Muay Thai based out of Phuket Thailand under head coach Tum Butsangkanh (Muay Thai), Gustavo Lemes (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) & Rafael Cordeiro (Boxing). Alongside these coaches are many others that help ensure he’s ready come fight night no matter what opponent or style they bring along!

As far as striking goes Na possesses great power and accuracy but also good speed coupled together making it hard for opponents get close enough without getting hit first due to how quick his hands can move so even if they do manage to land something clean it’ll likely not cause much damage when compared to what could be coming their way upon return fire!
