The Ultimate Fighting Championship, more commonly known as the UFC, is a multifaceted sport that draws competitors from all around the globe. At present, the UFC roster holds fighters representing over 73 nations, as of the 21st July 2023 data update. It is especially interesting to track the movement of fighters- both entry and exit- in this ever-evolving landscape.

Some fighters have recently departed the UFC, either due to the expiration of their contracts or an announcement of retirement. These departures are highlighted in the updates on the UFC’s official rosters, granting fans access to the real-time status of their favorite athletes.

Conversely, there are also those who are just stepping onto the grand stage of the UFC. These are fighters who have inked a deal with the UFC but have yet to make their first appearance, or those who have recently returned from retirement or an unannounced sabbatical.

As of 16th May 2019, USADA has sanctioned a total of 76 UFC fighters since the onset of the UFC USADA testing program.

Similarly, Alexander Volkanovski, the reigning champion, defended his title twice in 2023, besting his opponents in UFC 284 and UFC 294.
