BIOGRAPHY
Manolo Zecchini is an Italian UFC fighter who has trained and fought in several different competitions around the world. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Manolo grew up watching and dreaming of one day competing in martial arts. As a young man he began training at the local gym where he quickly developed a passion for Muay Thai kickboxing. From there, his skills continued to grow as he competed on the regional circuit before eventually making his way to the United States of America where he currently resides and trains with some of the best fighters in UFC.
Manolo began his professional fighting career when he was 18 years old and since then has gone on to win many championships including World Championship Gold medals at WMMAA European Championships (2014) and MMA Amateur World Cup (2016). He also holds a Muay Thai Fighter title from IKF Professional Muay Thai Kickboxing Association in 2017 which further cements Manolo’s place among top-level athletes.
In addition to his success as a fighter, Manolo has also become an accomplished trainer over recent years too – leading seminars across Europe while also offering personal instruction for individuals looking to improve their technique or increase their knowledge on fight theory & strategy. Additionally, Manolo can be found coaching youth teams at gyms all over Italy which helps ensure that the country continues producing future generations of quality martial artists capable enough to compete against any opponent that comes their way!
Since joining this ranks of professional combatants within UFC universe back 2018 when debuting opposite fellow European prospect Humbero de Sousa – Manolo’s resume now features wins against big names such as John Dodson & Eric Spicely while losses have come narrowly close decisions versus opponents like Rob Wilkinson & Antonio Braga Neto; each outing showcasing improved grappling prowess alongside ever expanding arsenal strikes! His most recent bout saw him losing via unanimous decision but being able to demonstrate strong cardio during its entirety despite three rounds full action – something that will surely benefit towards next outings whatever they may be!
