BIOGRAPHY

One of the most renowned athletes in the world today is Liudvik Sholinian, a Ukrainian-born professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on April 5th, 1991 in Kiev, Ukraine and raised by his single mother since the age of three, he began training at a local martial arts gym when he was just eleven years old. At this time he also started competing in amateur MMA competitions all around Eastern Europe. This quickly led him to joining an established fight team and eventually signing with UFC at only eighteen years old.

Throughout his now decade long career as an MMA athlete, Sholinian has been able to make quite a name for himself due to his incredible skillset and impressive record both inside and outside competition events. He made it all the way through The Contender Series season 2 before finally being called up into the promotion proper last year where he won his debut match against Michael Wooten via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 149: Overeem vs Oleinik. After that victory Sholinian went on to create even more records for himself with wins over notable opponents such as Antonio Carlos Junior at UFC Fight Night 156: Shevchenko vs Carmouche II and Francimar Barroso at UFC on ESPN 7: Overeem vs Rozenstruik where he earned Performance of The Night honors for his first round submission win over Barroso which came via rear naked choke hold!
