BIOGRAPHY

Jordan Griffin is a professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s featherweight division. He began his career as an amateur MMA fighter and won two amateur tournaments before turning pro in 2017.

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, Jordan Griffin was always interested in martial arts from a young age. He started training at local gyms while still attending high school, and eventually earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Renzo Gracie instructor Doug Sauerbrunn. Griffin also has a brown belt in judo, which he achieved after competing at several local competitions throughout Wisconsin.

At 23 years old, Jordan Griffin made his professional debut on the regional circuit with a win over Kastriot Xhema via unanimous decision. Shortly after that victory, he was offered a spot on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series (DWTNCS). The appearance allowed him to showcase his skills on national television and eventually led to him signing with the UFC shortly thereafter.

Since joining the UFC roster for its 145-pound division, Jordan Griffin has faced some of the best names in MMA including Jeremy Stephens and Arnold Allen. Despite being an underdog heading into both bouts against those opponents; he put forth valiant efforts only losing by split decisions each time around but leaving no doubt that he belonged among some of top fighters within this division of competition..
