Diniz initially began his journey in the sports world as a kickboxer. He showcased his talents in GLORY and SUPERKOMBAT Fighting Championship, gaining recognition and respect among his peers. His first significant victory was on 31st July 2010 at Ichigeki Brazil 2010, São Paulo, where he defeated Jan Soukup. Following that victory, Diniz continued his winning streak on 3rd September 2011, where he claimed the win in a 4-man muay thai rules tournament. He defeated Haime Morais in the semi-final and Saulo Cavalari in the final, both through unanimous decisions by the judges.

On 10th October 2012, Diniz made his splash debut for the Glory promotion at Glory 2: Brussels. Competing against Sebastian van Thielen, Diniz showcased his superior skills and was declared the winner, once again with a unanimous decision. He faced Daniel Ghiță, replacing Fabiano Cyclone, but was defeated in two two-minute rounds based on the tournament’s “best of three” format.

Suffering another loss, Diniz was defeated by Rico Verhoeven at Glory 7: Milan in Italy on 20th April 2013. However, showing his never say die attitude, on 23rd November 2013, at Glory 12: New York, Diniz emerged victorious against Igor Jurković by a first-round TKO. Moving forward, on 12th April 2014 at Glory 15: Istanbul in Turkey, Diniz faced Hesdy Gerges, where he lost the fight via a second-round TKO.

Despite occasional failures, Diniz never turned his back on wrestling fortune. On 16th October 2015, at ACB KB-3, he defeated Valentin Slavikovski by knockout in the first round. He continued his journey in ACB Kickboxing, taking down Kirk Krouba in the third round and winning the Heavyweight title at ACB KB 6: Battle in Brussels on 5th June 2016. On 10th June 2017, at Glory 42 Paris, Diniz lost to Nicolas Wamba after a unanimous decision.
