Jesse Strader is a professional mixed martial artist and UFC fighter. He was born August 15, 1988 in Hanford, California. Growing up, he was incredibly active in several sports such as wrestling, football and even martial arts. During his high school career he competed at the state level for wrestling and placed second during his senior year competition. After high school Jesse enlisted into the Marine Corps where he served for four years before returning to the United States to pursue a career in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts).
When Jesse returned from service overseas he became very serious about training for MMA competitions; this included enrolling in jiu-jitsu classes as well as striking techniques from Thailand kickboxing classes. He made his Pro debut on October 29th 2011 against Dez Hill at “Xtreme Fighting League: Battle of the Badges” which took place in Fresno California where Jesse won by unanimous decision after three rounds of intense action inside the cage. From there Jesse went on to compete in smaller promotions throughout California while continuing to improve his technique and skillset with each bout. On April 20th 2013 Jesse joined LFA (Legacy Fighting Alliance) where he quickly rose through the ranks by winning all five bouts within two years thus securing himself an opportunity with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
On July 28th 2018 at UFC 227 fighting out of Team Alpha Male camp under head coach Urijah Faber ,Jesse made his promotional debut against Jose Torres whom he defeated via TKO early into round 2 giving him a confidence boost that would carry him forward into future fights . His last fight earned him an impressive win over top 15 ranked featherweight Ricardo Lamas via unanimous decision after engaging him in a three round war inside The octagon . Now currently holding an unofficial 4-1 record within UFC ,with wins over reputable opponents such as John Moraga & Alex Caceres ;Jesse continues to train hard every day looking forward towards achieving greatness & further cementing himself among best contenders that Ultimate Fighting Championship has ever seen .
It is obvious that despite having only nine professional fights under his belt , Jesse Strader has already solidified himself amongst some of most promising fighters coming out West Coast scene today . With bright future ahead & humble attitude towards life outside cage it will be interesting see how much success this young man can achieve with steady dedication hard work ethic towards sport we all love so much !
