BIOGRAPHY

Impa Kasanganay is the hottest new name in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). The undefeated middleweight fighter has quickly become one of the most feared and respected competitors in the UFC. Born in Zambia and raised throughout Africa, Impa moved to America when he was 15 years old with hopes of training to become a professional MMA fighter. After diligently working towards his dream for several years, Impa finally debuted with Bellator MMA back in 2017, where he achieved an impressive 4-0 record before signing with the UFC in 2020.

Since joining the UFC ranks, Impa has gone 3-0 including wins against Joaquin Buckley, Maki Pitolo and Alan Jouban. His most recent fight saw him take home Performance of the Night honors after delivering a highlight reel knockout against Buckley at UFC Fight Night Blood & Gold on April 10th 2021. While known primarily as a striker due to his “Kasanganay Bomb” – an expertly timed spinning back kick –Imma also proficiently trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling which have both contributed greatly to his success thus far as well as further cementing himself as one of today’s most complete fighters.

When not competing inside or preparing for battle outside of the octagon, Impa enjoys hanging out with friends playing video games or just relaxing while listening to music from all genres such as hip hop/rap or rock depending on his mood that day! Outside of this casual lifestyle however lies a hardworking athlete who puts endless hours into honing his craft so that he can continue advancing through each stage put before him by Dana White and company.

The sky truly is limit for this burgeoning star from Zambia; whether it be improving upon already great striking techniques like his legendary “Kasanganay Bomb” or continuing honing both jiu-jitsu & wrestling skillsets so that opponents won’t know what hit them once stepping foot inside octagon against Inmpa Kasanganay!
