BIOGRAPHY

Danny Chavez is a contender in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight division. He was born on October 28, 1989 in Sacramento, California and began his martial arts training at the age of 10. After excelling in local amateur competitions, he turned pro at 19 years old and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most successful fighters in UFC history.

Chavez has been competing professionally since 2008 with impressive wins against notable opponents such as CJ Hamilton, Marcus Brimage and Bobby Moffett. In 2013 he became a member of Team Alpha Male where he trained alongside some of MMA’s top names including Urijah Faber and T.J Dillashaw. Since then Danny Chavez has gone on to have several memorable bouts with high profile fighters such as Brian Ortega, Andre Fili, Zabit Magomedsharipov and BJ Penn.

In 2015 Danny Chavez made his UFC debut with a spectacular win over Mark Eddiva by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 58: Machida vs Dollaway which solidified his place among the elite featherweights of MMA. Since then he has taken part in multiple fights for both Bellator & UFC which have seen him compete all over the world from Brazil to Texas to Japan & more recently San Francisco for his last fight- an exciting split decision loss against Ryan Hall at UFC 227: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt II .

The future looks bright for Danny Chavez as he continues to develop his skillset under Team Alpha Male’s guidance while also competing regularly inside Octagon cage all around globe! He hopes that someday soon be able capture coveted title belt within Featherweight division but not without putting up fight first!
