BIOGRAPHY
Chase Hooper is an American Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s featherweight division. Born on June 9, 2000, Chase began his MMA career at a young age, training at the University of Washington’s Combat Sports Club under coaches such as Dennis Hallman and Peter Oberg. His professional debut took place in April 2016 where he won by submission. Since then, he has gone on to amass a record of 10-1-1 and become one of the top fighters in his weight class.
Hooper is known for his relentless determination and never give up attitude which have propelled him to success. He also attributes much of his fighting style to his background in wrestling; having competed in various national tournaments since he was a kid – claiming state championships while attending Marysville High School before graduating early in 2018 so that he could pursue an MMA career full time.
Hooper has competed against some of the best names on the UFC roster including Dan Ige whom he defeated via unanimous decision earlier this year. His win over Ige earned him Performance of The Night honors along with a post fight bonus from Dana White & Co., proving that it pays off when you put your all into something you love doing – something Hooper knows very well!
With just 12 fights under his belt so far, Hooper still has room for growth but shows promise every time he steps into the cage. He also takes pride in being an example for younger athletes looking to make their mark by staying disciplined and working hard for what they want out of life – no matter how difficult or daunting it may seem at first glance! As long as there is talent involved – anything can happen! In addition to competing professionally, Chase also works as a model & content creator which helps expose both himself & those around him; furthering their collective careers while creating personal growth opportunities along the way!
