BIOGRAPHY

Orion Cosce is an American professional mixed martial artist and a rising star in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He currently competes in the welterweight division.

Cosce was born on October 15, 1991, in San Diego, California. He started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 6, under his father’s tutelage and soon developed a passion for combat sports. Cosce gradually began to train other disciplines such as kickboxing and wrestling in order to become well rounded fighter.

He made his amateur debut when he was 16 years old, accumulating an impressive record of 13-2 with 11 wins by submission or knockout before transitioning into professional MMA competition. His first pro fight took place just after turning 21 years old where he continued to showcase his dominance and improved technique by earning a submission victory via rear naked chokehold within just over two minutes during round one of their encounter.
