Yasir Durant, an acclaimed American football player born on May 21, 1998, in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, has carved a niche for himself in American professional sports. Debuted in the realm of the National Football League (NFL), Yasir is pronouncing his name in the football fraternity as a proficient offensive guard. Currently, he embellishes the offensive guard position for the DC Defenders, a part of the United Football League (UFL).

During his early years, Yasir’s sporting journey commenced from his College days at Missouri, where he played as an essential part of the football team. Before being a proud Tiger at Missouri, Durant had an illustrious career at Arizona Western College, where he first embraced his skills as an offensive guard. His contribution to the team was commendable and caught the eyes of the football fraternity. As per the stats, he was the third-ranked junior college prospect at his position which eventually led him to sign with Missouri. Yasir Durant proved his football prowess on the field as he started 33 out of the 34 games throughout his tenure at Missouri.

However, after two days, he was waived again, only to be re-signed to the practice squad. Standing firm amidst the fluctuating career dynamics, Durant signed a reserve/future contract on January 9, 2023. Unfortunately, the wave of being waived hit him again on June 15 by the Saints.

Breaking the shackles of the past, Yasir Durant opened a new chapter of his career as he was signed by the Denver Broncos on July 31, 2023. But the history seemed to repeat itself when he was waived again five days later by the Broncos.

Undeterred by the past, Yasir embarked on a new journey on March 14, 2024, when he signed with the DC Defenders of the UFL. His performance captivated the attention of the management, which led to his re-signing with the DC Defenders on October 18, 2024.
