Travis Etienne Jr.

Travis Etienne Jr. is a New Orleans Saints running back who wears No. 3. The Saints agreed to terms with Etienne on March 11, 2026, after his five-season tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He entered the NFL as Jacksonville’s first-round selection, 25th overall, in the 2021 NFL Draft. Etienne is listed at 5 feet 10 inches and 215 pounds, was born on January 26, 1999, in Jennings, Louisiana, and played college football at Clemson.

At Clemson, Etienne became one of the most accomplished running backs in Atlantic Coast Conference history. He was named ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and 2019 and helped the Tigers win a national championship. His college résumé also included conference records for career rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns and points. Etienne missed his 2021 rookie season after suffering a foot injury during the preseason, then returned to become a major part of Jacksonville’s offense and postseason attack.

Etienne’s playing style combines acceleration, open-field explosiveness and receiving ability from the backfield. He has been used as both an inside runner and a space player, with the versatility to contribute as a receiver. His 2025 season was a notable Jacksonville campaign before his move to New Orleans, where he began the 2026 season as an active Saints running back.
