Tommy Tremble, born June 2, 2000, is currently one of the rising stars in American professional football. An exceptional talent at the position of a tight end, Tremble advances his profession with Carolina Panthers, a National Football League (NFL) team. His journey to the NFL has been marked by incredible skill, passion and perseverance, and he continues to add valuable contributions to his team’s success.
Tremble’s prowess in aggressive play and strategic positioning began to shine in his formative high school years. He joined Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, where he successfully honed his skills. With a commitment to excel, Tremble was accepted in 2018 into the University of Notre Dame, a well-known breeding ground of high-performing athletes.
His college career didn’t start as he anticipated, as Tremble did not play in any games during his true freshman year. However, the following year, in 2019, he played in every one of the 13 games, becoming an indispensable part of the squad. Overall, he made a significant impact with 16 receptions, generating 183 yards and securing four touchdowns in what became a successful season for him.
In the subsequent year of 2020, Tremble demonstrated his readiness for the next level, amassing 19 receptions for an impressive 218 yards throughout the season. Following this successful season, the young athlete decided to set his focus on the professional level by declaring for the 2021 NFL draft.
Tremble’s star continued to shine throughout the draft selection. The Carolina Panthers chose him in the third round as the 83rd overall pick. Shortly after the draft, on July 22, 2021, he signed a four-year rookie contract with Carolina, confirming his place among the ranks of professional football.
His first season of professional play continued to uphold the promise he demonstrated in college. Making his mark in Week 5, against the Philadelphia Eagles, Tremble recorded his first NFL touchdown on a five-yard reception. His initial year concluded with 20 receptions for 180 receiving yards and a touchdown, appearing in 16 games and starting 11.
In Tremble’s second season, the young player continued to showcase his talent. On October 22, 2022, during Week 7’s clash against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he scored his first touchdown of the season on his only catch of the game, a stunning 29-yard pass from fellow player P. J. Walker. Throughout his second year, Tremble completed 19 receptions for 174 receiving yards and three touchdowns, after appearing in 17 games and starting in four.
Tommy Tremble’s success is not surprising considering that football runs in his blood. His father, Greg Tremble, also played in the NFL as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, even contributing to the team’s Super Bowl XXX victory.
