Taylen Green Bio
Taylen Green is a Cleveland Browns quarterback who was selected by the team in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the 182nd overall pick. The Browns’ current 2026 roster lists Green as an active quarterback wearing No. 15. He played college football at Boise State and Arkansas before entering the NFL.
Born October 18, 2002, in Texas, Green is listed at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds by the NFL. At Boise State, he developed into a dual-threat quarterback and earned Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors and Frisco Bowl Offensive MVP recognition in 2022. He later received Mountain West Championship Offensive MVP honors in 2023 before transferring to Arkansas.
Green’s profile is built around unusual size, speed, arm strength and open-field ability. NFL draft coverage described him as an explosive runner with developmental needs as a passer, including greater consistency in his throwing mechanics and decision-making. Those traits give him a high-upside developmental profile at quarterback as he begins his professional career with Cleveland.
