Sebastian Joseph, known as Sebastian Joseph-Day in his professional life, was born on March 21, 1995, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He is well-known as an American NFL defensive end who currently plays for the Tennessee Titans. His career path has taken him from a high school football star to a Super Bowl champion. Joseph-Day was introduced to football at Stroudsburg High School, where he made a name for himself in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, one of the most esteemed high school athletic conferences in the country. His high school coach, Joe Bernard, guided him as he became the 30th-best prospect coming out of Pennsylvania, according to Rivals.com.

Having received college football offers from several universities like Connecticut, Maryland, and Temple, Joseph-Day chose to attend Rutgers University. He played football under the supervision of head coaches Kyle Flood and Chris Ash from 2013 to 2017. While off to a slow start due to an injury in his first season, aspiring athlete Sebastian featured in more games each season, gaining experience and honing his skills. His final year at Rutgers was the high point of his collegiate career, with noteworthy stats of 35 total tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass defensed, and one forced fumble.

At the 2018 NFL Draft, Joseph-Day’s promising career took a significant leap when the Los Angeles Rams drafted him in the sixth round. Although he didn’t play any games during his rookie year, 2019 saw him earn a full-time starter position with the Rams. In the ensuing seasons, Joseph-Day consistently delivered solid performances, shaping a commendable record with a noteworthy number of sacks, tackles and passes defended.

However, 2021 was a challenging year for Joseph-Day. A torn pectoral led to surgery and a period on injured reserve. He still managed to wrap up the regular season with three sacks and 38 total tackles in seven games. Subsequently, in March 2022, Joseph-Day reached a three-year, $24 million contract agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers.
