Born on September 12, 1996, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Rodarius Lee Williams is an accomplished professional football player known for his skillful defensive maneuvers in the field as a cornerback. Known for his strategic prowess and physical agility, he has beautifully carved his niche making him a potent participant in the National Football League (NFL). Presently, he operates as a free agent, a position that lets him exhibit true potential, agility, and sharply honed skills on the field.

His football journey began in college when he played for the Oklahoma State. These initial times gave Williams the necessary exposure to polish his skills while playing for the Cowboys over five seasons. Excitingly, even as a redshirt freshman, he spent a year just practicing without participating in competitions, meant to extend the student’s eligibility to play. This was a valuable time for growth for him and placed high confidence and trust in his coaches, who recognized his talent and promoted him as a starter in his redshirt freshman year.

Boasting an impressive football career, Williams achieved notable recognition during his time as a redshirt senior. He was named the second-team All-Big 12 Conference, a testament to his exceptional performance on the field. During this time, he reached an incredible milestone of allowing just nine pass completions, a clear indication of his defensive skills. Additionally, Williams was also successful in breaking up approximately seven passes, showcasing his scheming maneuvering and strategic play.

In 2021, the NFL Draft saw Williams hit another milestone. In the sixth round, he was drafted as the 201st overall by the New York Giants. This marked a new chapter in his football odyssey, taking his career to new heights. On May 13, 2021, Williams formalized his agreement with the Giants, signing his first official contract. However, this celebratory phase came to a halt when Williams suffered an unfortunate torn ACL in Week 5, ruling him out for the season.

Upon his recovery, Williams rejoined the team. On August 31, 2022, Williams was placed on injured reserve. After a period of healing and recovery, he was fully activated on November 14. Seizing the opportunity to make a comeback, Williams delivered a powerful performance and recorded his first career interception off of Dak Prescott during a Week 12 loss against the Dallas Cowboys.

However, his stint with the Giants was relatively short-lived. On August 19, 2023, Williams was released from the Giants. The following day, he was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This marked a new affiliation for Williams, though it was a brief one. He was waived just eight days later on August 28.
