He ended this successful season with 1,132 yards and ten touchdowns, along with 26 receptions for 140 yards. His performance led to him being conferred as the second team all Sun Belt.

In 2023, Vidal set a new record for his college, Troy, by rushing for an outstanding 248 yards in the opening match against Stephen F. Austin. He also managed to score 245 yards and three touchdowns in the sixth week match against Arkansas State, once again earning the title of the Sun Belt’s offensive player of the week. Eventually, he bagged the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year and the MVP award in the 2023 conference championship game after becoming the first player to score five touchdowns in the FBS conference championship.

His collegiate laurels paved the way for a successful career in the NFL. Having been selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 181st overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, Vidal swiftly transitioned into the professional circuit.
