In the freshman season, his overall contribution saw him undertake 101 carries amounting to 516 yards and four touchdowns. Vidal’s meritorious performances continued into the 2021 season, culminating in his standout game during the seventh week. With 162 yards and two touchdowns over 25 carries, he led the Troy Trojans to another victory over Texas State. Throughout the season, Vidal commemorated 701 yards and five touchdowns using 152 carries, along with securing 22 receptions for 134 yards.

During the 2022 season, Vidal continued to break his own records. In the twelfth week, he rushed 242 yards and scored two touchdowns against Louisiana-Monroe, an achievement that earned him the Sun Belt’s offensive player of the week title. He ended this successful season with 1,132 yards and ten touchdowns, along with 26 receptions for 140 yards. His performance led to him being conferred as the second team all Sun Belt.

In 2023, Vidal set a new record for his college, Troy, by rushing for an outstanding 248 yards in the opening match against Stephen F. Austin. He also managed to score 245 yards and three touchdowns in the sixth week match against Arkansas State, once again earning the title of the Sun Belt’s offensive player of the week. Eventually, he bagged the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year and the MVP award in the 2023 conference championship game after becoming the first player to score five touchdowns in the FBS conference championship.

His collegiate laurels paved the way for a successful career in the NFL. Having been selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the 181st overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, Vidal swiftly transitioned into the professional circuit. His first NFL touch resulted in a stunning 38-yard touchdown reception from Justin Herbert in the victory over Denver Broncos.
