Jamaal Williams Bio
Jamaal Malik Williams is an American football running back born April 3, 1995, in Rialto, California. He attended Summit High School in Fontana before playing college football at Brigham Young University. Williams became BYU’s all-time leading rusher and returned for his senior season after missing the 2015 season because of a school honor-code suspension. His college career established him as a durable, physical runner with a strong work ethic.
The Green Bay Packers selected Williams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft with the 134th overall pick. During his time in Green Bay, he developed into a dependable all-around back whose responsibilities included rushing, receiving and pass protection. Packers coverage emphasized his growth as a blocker and his energetic presence around the team. Williams later played for the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints, with New Orleans listing him as a six-foot, 224-pound running back in its 2024 team media guide.
