Drake Lee Maye, a professional American football quarterback, was born on August 30, 2002, in Huntersville, North Carolina. As the newest star of the New England Patriots, one of the franchises of the National Football League (NFL), Maye’s journey into professional football has been a steady rise filled with many notable accomplishments.

Maye’s football career began at a young age, nurtured in the athletic surroundings of North Carolina. High school offered Maye an excellent platform for showcasing his abilities, both in football and basketball. Having started at William A. Hough High School, Maye decisively transferred to Myers Park High School, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, following his freshman year in pursuit of a more intensive football curriculum. His competitiveness and resilience would not only solidify his reputation on the field but also manifest in his interactions with his three brothers who shared a similar passion for football.
