Derek Wright, an esteemed American football wide receiver, was born on August 13th, 1998. As of now, Wright is a free agent, a dynamic journeyman in the football field honing his craft and waiting for his opportunity to shine. His football career stems back from his high school days, transitioning into his college years and eventually bringing him to the professional world of the National Football League (NFL).

Following his graduation from High School, Wright enrolled in Snow College, paving his initial pathway in football. He devoted two full seasons at the junior college level, polishing his skills as a young athlete. His tenure at Snow College prepared him for a bigger stage in his football career at Utah State University.

Derek transitioned to Utah State University after two seasons at Snow College. In his final year playing for Utah State, Wright created a remarkable legacy as he pulled off 48 receptions for 789 yards, along with the team’s best of 11 touchdowns. For his outstanding performance, he received an honorable mention in the all-Mountain West Conference honors.
